Spring Celebration at UGA Aquarium; All About Birds

Sharing is Caring!

As a bird lover, this was the place to be today! This was a public event held by the UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant. The event was held on Skidaway Island in Georgia. The moment you walk on to the grounds, it feels that you have entered a very tranquil place. You are greeted by friendly staff, and they are more than happy to share their knowledge about birds and other wildlife in the area.

Today we saw terrapin turtles, blue crabs, seahorse, skates, lion fish, red-shouldered hawk, osprey, red-bellied woodpecker, and wild dolphins in the waters nearby. It is a great place for wild life lovers of all ages!Today we saw terrapin turtles, blue crabs, seahorse, skates, lion fish, red-shouldered hawk, osprey, red-bellied woodpecker, and wild dolphins in the waters nearby.
