Bluffton Sunrise and Sunsets

There’s something magical about Lowcountry sunrises and sunsets. The beauty of the Lowcountry backdrop definitely defines both the sunrise and sunset. The marshes, palmetto trees, and the beautiful ponds and rivers provide an elegant look at what nature has to offer. It helps that Bluffton does not have any tall buildings to block the sunrise and sunsets. But it does help to know the best place to view them. And the May River is the best location for both!

The Art & Seafood Street Fest is a 2-day event when most of the town and people outside the state come to eat fantastic local seafood and procure local art. The local seafood vendors sell their food in an outside tent. Lines get long, and food goes quickly, so get here early. Parking is free at Red Cedar Elementary, and there’s a free trolley that can take you directly to the Seafood Fest. The trolley comes fairly frequently, so rest assured they will take you back to your car as well. Also, there are nice, free restrooms available so don’t worry this is not a port-a-potty event! For a small town of 27K people, this Festival is well done!
